Neil Jenman receives thousands of emails from consumers. Many are from people asking for help; some, of course, need help more urgently than others. Often, people say that Neil Jenman is their only hope. They have “nowhere else to turn”.
Whether it’s a minor issue, such as a leaky tap, or a major issue, such as the loss of someone’s life’s savings, Neil Jenman tries to read every email personally. He will either respond himself or pass the message to a colleague.
Every effort is made to help all genuine requests for help from consumers. (Abusive messages from spruikers are ignored).
Although Neil’s efforts may delight grateful consumers, he seldom pleases the business people (who may range from the foolishly incompetent to the dangerously dishonest) at the centre of the consumers’ concerns.
